I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of letter No. 444.07/17/08 informing me that the extension of leave for which I applied cannot be granted.
As the illness on account of which I was invalided home has left my throat too weak to permit me to take up my official duties as Interpreter again, at all events at present, there is no alternative left but to resign my appointment.
